Hotel cut-off date is at hand

The last day to get Workshop rates at the Red Rock is August 4. After that, one of two things will happen. The first is we can’t guarantee you’ll get a room. The second is if you do get a room, it almost certainly will be at a higher rate than our negotiated rate of $179.99 per night.

There are still rooms available for the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday nights of the Workshop. However, the Friday and Saturday nights prior to the Workshop are sold out.

With the exception of the day-long student workshop and Multimedia Quick Course, regular Workshop sessions begin at 3 p.m. Sunday. Most people in the U.S., because of the Pacific time zone we’re in, can arrive in time to get to the hotel and make the first session.

However, if you need to be here earlier, please contact site chair Bill Gaspard at bill.gaspard@lasvegassun.com. There may be some cancellations of Saturday night rooms or the freeing up of some Friday and Saturday rooms from the APME room block. He can also advise on the closest alternate hotels for those nights.
