**Rate:** Our hotel rate is $179.99 per night for single or double occupancy. The rate includes the $19.99 daily resort fee. That fee was unavoidable and we chose to roll it into the daily rate rather than advertise a $160 rate and have you find out about the $19.99 when you reserved the room.

**Includes:** The resort fee includes nightly turndown service, a daily newspaper, admission to the fitness center (normally $30) and scheduled shuttle service to and from the Las Vegas Strip and McCarran Airport (the airport shuttle can save you a $50 taxi ride each way).

**21:** Nope, we’re not talking about blackjack. At least one person in the room needs to be 21 (Nevada gaming regulations, which everyone takes very seriously around here).

**Come early/stay late:** The rate is good for three days before and after the workshop (depending on availability, the earlier you book the more available).

**Deposit:** Unfortunately, your card is charged for the first night at the time of the reservation. The good news: it is completely refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before your arrival date.

**Cutoff:** Red Rock will take reservations at the conference rate until August 4, 2008. If there are still rooms available they will be offered at the prevailing hotel rate.

**Triples and Quadruples:** There are surcharges for triples and quads ($35 per night for a triple; $70 for a quad).

**Taxes & Total:** Rooms are subject to the Clark County room tax, currently at 9%. That puts the total rate, room and tax, at $196.19 per night.

**Rooms and hotel amenities:** All rooms are spacious and come with 42-inch plasma TVs, sound systems with an iPod jack, bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers. In addition to 70,000 square feet of first-class meeting space, there are three acres of pool area. The Spa & Fitness Center are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can also book horseback rides, river rafting, and guided hikes and bike tours of Red Rock Canyon through the hotel’s Adventure Spa.

**Suite upgrades:** For those of you interested in a suite, rates for the Red Rock Signature suite are $400 per weekday night (Sunday-Thursday), $500 per weekend night.
